IMAP advises the shareholders of Thömen group on the acquisition by Hüffermann Krandienst GmbH

Thömen Spedition GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist in crane and heavy transport logistics, was acquired by Hüffermann Krandienst GmbH. With this acquisition, as well as the takeover of Eisele AG in 2021, the Hüffermann Group is positioning itself as one of the leading providers of crane- & Heavy Lift as well as heavy transport services in Germany.

Founded in 1927, Thömen offers a recognized professional and stable basis with its range of services, on which customers throughout Germany can rely. With over 130 employees in Hamburg Brunsbüttel, Potsdam and Leipzig, Thömen group has a diverse portfolio of services: the provision of telescopic-, lattice boom and crawler cranes, planning and execution of heavy transports with special equipment trucks up to the competent execution of assemblies. Addditionally, entire projects can be managed as a one-stop-shop operation.

As a company with almost 100 years of tradition and more than 50 years of experience as a crane service provider, the HÜFFERMANN GROUP offers a modern fleet and a complete offering for services, related to crane and heavy load logistics. In total, the group includes more than 1,100 cranes, trucks, machines and rental equipment. In addition to that projects and large construction sites are being managed all over Germany and Europe wide.

The IMAP team exclusively advised the shareholders of the Thömen group within a structured M&A process through all phases until the successful closing.
