With the investment in L&S, AXTONE consequently follows their strategy to expand their market leadership in the segment absorption of energy at railway vehicles and to strengthen their position as supplier of the railway industry. The private equity company IK Investment Partners, operating all over Europe, has been majority shareholder of AXTONE since 2008. IK Investment Partners manages an investment portfolio of about € 5.7bn. The portfolio includes for example: Minimax, Schenck Process, Hansa Group.
