Dr. Carsten Lehmann is a Member of the Executive Board of IMAP in Germany. As well as various positions at large German banks, Carsten also spent more than 13 years of his career at Bankhaus Lampe KG, a leading independent private bank owned by the Dr. Oetker Group. There he helped develop and manage the M&A advisory team, before being promoted to the Executive Board of the bank, where he was responsible for the integrated corporate banking and wealth management business of the bank for mid-sized companies and their owners. He also helped to initiate and build a private equity fund which structures direct investments for entrepreneurial private investors.
Carsten has over 20 years of experience in strategic and corporate finance advisory and has successfully structured and executed a large number of company divestments, acquisitions, minority transactions, debt and equity financing transactions, as well as IPO’s. He has distinct expertise in a number of industries, with a strong focus on consumer goods and retail, logistics, software and manufacturing.
Carsten studied Economics in Tuebingen and Muenster, where he was awarded a PhD.
