IMAP advises the shareholders of Adams on the sale to Netzkontor Group, a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG
The Netzkontor Group is also acquiring the shares in KVS-Kraftfahrzeug-Vertrieb-Service GmbH, Adams' fleet management company
IMAP advised Adams Network Engineering GmbH, a leading provider of engineering services for broadband expansion in Germany, as part of a succession solution on the sale to Netzkontor Group, a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. The Netzkontor Group is also acquiring the shares in KVS-Kraftfahrzeug-Vertrieb-Service GmbH, Adams' fleet management company.
With the acquisition, Netzkontor Group continues its strong growth strategy and gains with Adams an excellent addition in the areas of planning, installation and service. The brand Adams and the company will remain after the acquisition. In addition, the existing management of Adams will continue to accompany the future development.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Adams has continuously developed itself under today's management led by Prof. Dr. Claus Adams, Dr. Alexander Adams, Dietmar Rosenau and Stefan Bauer. Today, Adams is one of the leading providers of engineering services in the areas of planning, installation and service of fiber optic lines and coaxial networks (digital infrastructure) in Germany. The company recently generated total revenues of more than EUR 17m and employs nearly 160 people at its sites in Wilhelmshaven, Büttelborn and Cologne.
The Netzkontor Group comprises independent service companies in the field of broadband and fiber optic expansion. The companies operate nationwide and are distinguished by their decades of experience in planning, building, operating and servicing networks. Today, Netzkontor comprises over 1,000 employees at more than 30 locations nationwide.
