IMAP advises GELSENCHEM Chemical Products GmbH on the sale to private investors

The two long-term shareholders of GELSENCHEM Chemical Products GmbH, Miguel Fábrega and Thomas Lüllemann, have sold all their shares to Höppner Finanz Holding, a company owned by Dr. Nils-Oliver Höppner and Mr. Rüdiger Funke. Given their previous activities in the chemical industry, the two new shareholders will bring new expertise to the company. This will enable GELSENCHEM to build up a new business segment and to expand their offering beyond the current product portfolio.

GELSENCHEM is a leading distributor of methanol and specialty chemicals in Germany and Benelux. The company’s customers include manufacturers of biofuels as well as operators of wastewater treatment and industrial plants. As Germany's largest methanol distributor in the segment of tank truck deliveries, GELSENCHEM has successfully positioned itself in the market as an independent company.
