ETC-Gauff Solutions GmbH, a provider of software and IT services for public transport, has been taken over by the management team and a private investor as a result of an MBO.
As a B2B software provider, ETC focuses on the development and operation of real-time information systems, data hubs, management information and quality measurement systems, as well as IT and telematics solutions for public transport, local public transport and road traffic. The increasing digitization of these markets offers attractive growth opportunities both nationally and internationally for ETC which has generated revenues of approx. EUR 11.5 million with 83 employees in 2019.
“Act independently will enable us to align our internal processes even better to our business focus and thus speed up our further development", emphasizes Helge Haugk, who has successfully managed ETC Solutions since 2017.
Carsten Lehmann, Managing Director of IMAP M&A Consultants AG, wishes the new owners all the best for the future of the company: "For the ETC team as well as for its customers, this solution for the company succession is the best fit, and the public transport market will hopefully benefit from ETC's digitization services in the long term."
The IMAP M&A Consultants team with Dr. Carsten Lehmann, Patrick Fritscher, Martin Michalek and Mathias Bosse has exclusively advised the seller of ETC and supported him in negotiating and successfully closing the transaction.
The Italian Ariston Thermo Group (Ariston) has acquired the majority of shares in Kesselheld GmbH (Kesselheld), one of the leading digital start-ups in heating installations in Germany.
