As part of the first transaction, a nationwide investor participated in a regional project company to facilitate the development of a new mixed-use quarter (commercial and residential) in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. This is an area of more than 90,000 sqm with mainly factory buildings, warehouses and outdoor areas in need of renovation.
With the help of the nationwide investor, the entire area was acquired and is now being further developed and implemented as a new "urban quarter" for commercial and residential use.
IMAP advised the regional project company. The project volume to be realized for the new quarter will amount to more than EUR 100 million.
In the second transaction, a cooperation partner was found for the Leipzig-based ARCADIA Investment Group. A German family office has formed a cooperation with the project development company to implement joint real estate projects such as revitalization of existing buildings, new residential and commercial construction projects and other project developments such as obtaining building rights.
ARCADIA Investment Group specializes in the development of retail properties, residential properties, car parks and underground garages throughout Germany. In addition to activities for the company's own portfolio, a number of partnership projects are being implemented - among others in close cooperation with several national and international investors. The core business of the company also includes the optimization, maintenance and expansion of the real estate portfolio of trustfully managed family companies. ARCADIA Investment GmbH, the holding company of the group, currently employs 28 people and is currently developing more than 300,000 sqm of space nationwide. The associated project volume currently amounts to around 250 million euros.
With the help of the Family Office, the further growth of the Group can be secured and new real estate projects in the amount of around EUR 150 to 200 million can be realized.
IMAP advised the nationwide project developer.
Last weekend, IMAP colleagues from all over the world were due to congregate in Denver, Colorado, for a conference planned for many months, where deals, learning, and friendships would be developed and shaped. Even a month ago when the difficult decision was made to cancel the event, none of us could have foreseen the speed and scale of events that have occurred since.
