IMAP with a good start 2016

221 Transactions in 2015, approx. USD 10 billion transaction volume, present in 35 countries

IMAP continued to consolidate and expand its international position as an M&A organization in 2015. Worldwide, 221 deals with a transaction volume of nearly USD 10 billion were successfully signed, almost one third of which were cross-border activities.

IMAP's international presence has been complemented by new locations in Morocco, Colombia and Dubai, so that IMAP is now represented in 35 countries around the world.

Jurgis V Oniunas Chairman of IMAP International said: "We are heading with positive expectations for 2016, and our investments in larger cross-border teams and industry expertise have enabled us to deliver significant value to our customers around the world. We will continue to strengthen our international capabilities in order to provide the best possible service to our customers. At IMAP, we share the same common values and principles, especially the commitment to building long-term relationships with our customers ".

Karl Fesenmeyer, CEO of IMAP M&A Consultants, Germany: "IMAP Germany can also look back on a successful year with the completion of 16 M&A transactions. Particularly noteworthy in this context is the 40% cross-border quota. This is living international cooperation! In 2015, international transactions were successfully concluded with China, Singapore, France, Serbia, Scandinavia, the USA and Switzerland. Our China Desk was able to provide valuable support for German companies in China as well as for Chinese investors on their way to Europe/Germany ".

In order to meet the increasing global importance of industry specialization, IMAP has bundled its competencies in selected areas into internationally staffed, specialized sector teams. Our customers also benefit from our completed transactions in the respective sectors. In 2015, for example, transactions in the sectors of mechanical engineering, hydraulics, packaging, fluid technology and seals, energy, services such as property management or language travel through to real estate transactions were successfully concluded by our industry experts for our customers.

IMAP M&A Consultants AG in Mannheim and Munich started well into the new year 2016 with three transactions concluded in January. These included another cross-border deal in Denmark and the USA.
