Wagner Holding, VR Equitypartner and its Industry Advisory Board Thomas M. Hübner provide Dr. Förster AG, Neu-Isenburg, a manufacturer of high-quality products in the field of natural cosmetics, biological nutritional supplements and nature-based OTC medicines, with a substantial growth capital to secure their long-term financing.
The consortium also took over all the shares from early financing, so that a majority position is now held. As part of the transaction, the two remaining members of the Management Board, Björn Witte and Frank Riedel, have significantly increased their stakes in the company.
The company, founded in 1927, sees itself as a manufacturer in the production of nature-based health products and was successfully modernized and repositioned by the current management in 2014. The focus was on research and development, production, marketing and sales. This also includes compliance with the Ecocert and EU organic standards as well as GMP-certified pharmaceutical production. With the two brands "goodme" and "Dr. Förster ", the company is already well represented in e-commerce and is expanding its business here also. The area of white label and contract manufacturing also shows growth rates.
Björn Witte and Frank Riedel, Board Members of Förster AG said: "We are pleased to have found three long-term oriented partners for our company in the investor team, who believe in the success of our business model just as we do and will be valuable sparring partners in upcoming strategic decisions".
